very nice sequel
If you liked playing the tony hawk series on the nintendo 64, playstation, ps2, xbox, and gamecube, but you felt like it was to animated, you’ll love skate and skate 2.

I like the tricks and the new locations, but the increase of security makes me frustrated and I turn off after about an hour of playing.

Even Better Than The Original

Go Rent it! Don’t buy
I got this game never playing skate. The opening is cool and that’s really it. I suggest you go rent this game and never buy it.

Bridges the gap between realism and fantasy perfectly
The first SKATE never really stuck with me I got 1/2 way through and found that the environment and mechanics got stale.

I really do skate in real life, and the thing about this game is that the ea creators got lazy. They just took old san van from the original Skate and put more things in it.

Skate fine tuned
When Skate came out last year, it was revolutionary. With smooth controls, video editor etc. etc. Skate 2 is not attempting to re-invent the wheel.
